bang! Dump! Goes my bike as i skid down the muddy track. I raced down the track thinking that
the trees are trying to kill me. and rip me into shreds so i race of as fast as i can .

Bang! goes the rippling water as they bally flop into the slick water. My eyes open wide as i feel the water i feel like a stone. My hair goes up like a spike ready for war. I quiver like a shrimp. Tweet!!!Goes the whistle every body is silent. I feel like a shrimp clap! goes the clappers i dive into the freezing cold water i race to the end and get 3rd i leaped in joy my first placing.

As the group of children slowly trudge over to our game my heart pounds.I slowly hide,my breath is heavy.They get the hang of the game and have fun we join in.As other groups come and go.Finally its the end i sigh in relief.

In Term 2, Room 7 have been learning about the Moon and it's relationship with the Earth and the Sun. Here is our colourful art we created using pastels.

Tawa Team Raglan Beach Trip

Tawa Team had a wonderful day trip to Raglan beach. Jayden and his group completed the beach relay and had a lot of fun. Jayden used the key competency of Participating and Contributing by accepting responsibility as an individual and as a group member. He also demonstrated the competency of Relating to Others when he worked cooperatively with his group and was considerate of their thoughts and feelings.

Welcome Jayden

Welcome to Room 7 Jayden! We are going to have a great year in Room 7. Jayden is in Year 4, he is a great role model and is already demonstrating leadership potential.  

Kea shelter

This is my kea shelter.  I had to change the model from the plan because it wasn't stable, and it kept on falling apart. I had to use very thick cardboard to make my model strong.
Kea are the most intelligent birds in the world.  It is my responsibility to care for the kea because there are only 5000 left. There are not many left because they nest on the ground.

Bees

The Latin name for a bee is apis. A bee is an insect.

Habitat

Bees live in hollow trees or wood. bees also live in there on little hives. Bees live in man made hives two.

Description 

Bees are very hairy. Bees are also stripy so there predators think they are poisonous. They are on earth for a very good reason.

Dynamics

Bees can't fly in the rain. Bees do a waggle dance to communicate. Bees can bite bees sting when they feel threatened or when they think there going to get killed. Bees fly all around the earth with only four wings.

Stop killing bees so the world would look beautiful. Don't wast the honey given to us.
